Shutdown Day – Will you survive?
We’ve come across an online experiment taking place called Shutdown Day on May 3rd 2008.
“The idea of Shutdown Day project is simple – just shutdown your computer for one whole day of the year and involve yourself in some other activities: outdoors, nature, sports, fun stuff with friends and family – whatever, just to remind yourself that there still exists a world outside your monitor screen.”
Head over to http://www.shutdownday.org/ to pledge your support and find out more about the benefits of the project. And why not take the opportunity to get creative? Use the day to create a piece of artwork and email a picture of it to us and we’ll post them here…
