Nantucket Arts Festival – Labor Day Weekend

Nantucket Arts Festival Fall 2008

The 16th Annual Nantucket Fall Arts Festival will take place beginning Labor Day weekend (August 29) on Nantucket and will run through September 7.The Festival will showcase the creative talents of many talented Nantucketers– from talented local photographers, painters, weavers and musicians to Nantucket High School students, who will be staging a premiere of a creative video project they have been working on for the past year. It will truly be a celebration of the diversity and extraordinary talent found on the island today.

The Arts Council expects to attract over 4,000 participants throughout the Festival starting with the busy Labor Day weekend.  We will be promoting the Festival and our sponsors through advertising and publicity in Nantucket and Cape media, as well as our Nantucket Arts Council monthly e-newsletter.  We also will be producing a printed program in a quantity of 6,000 to be distributed free all over the island.

For more information about sponsorship or advertising opportunities, contact Nantucket Arts Council Director of Development Linda Sonnonstine at development@nantucketartscouncil.org or (508) 228-7892.
